This is one of those collaborations that just makes sense. Herman Miller asked Yves Béhar and his studio fuseproject, to design an affordable chair that was both beautiful and functional, while also having regard for the environment. Béhar, who calls San Francisco home, took inspiration from his city's greatest landmark, the Golden Gate Bridge. The SAYL work chair is everything you would expect from Herman Miller and more. The final product contains no PVCs, is 76% recyclable and comes in at just $399, which is significantly less than Herman Miller's infamous Aeron Chair. I hope to be seeing more of these around.
